| Bret
Willmott  is an excellent guitar
player, book author (published by Mel Bay), Berklee Professor, teacher of Bill Frisell and others a friend and a great guy. He also leads a guitar orchestra featuring some of the finest American and European guitarists appropriately called "Bret's Frets". During a European tour Bret and Christian took off from the Frets for some duo club dates in Germany. The banner above (notice their individual names depicted as flags) attached to a converted storage house / concert hall in Stralsund on the East German seaside has to be one of the most passionate advertisements ever seen for a jazzguitar duo gig. | From a news
paper article (!): Bret and Christian sharing intimate feelings - and a music stand..:-) |
